Director of Business Development
Enlivened Tech is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development with knowledge in the IT field. This position offers exciting opportunities to develop new accounts for our Information Technology Asset Disposition (ITAD) services and refurbished IT hardware solutions. Having a strong existing network will allow you to advance rapidly toward the large earning potential this position holds.

The primary responsibility of the Director of Business Development is to generate growth and new business opportunities. You will have a number of tools at your disposal, including prospecting through existing business accounts, outbound email/call campaigns, and attending networking events and conferences. As a leadership role, the responsibilities of this position also include conducting market research, developing business strategies, building client relationships, developing a sales team, and identifying new business opportunities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Use your expertise to utilize leads from an existing network and generate new leads through networking, social media, emails, and cold calling
- Move leads through the sales process by generating interest, understanding the prospect’s challenges and needs, and strategically creating value to close sales
- Communicate accurate product descriptions and use product knowledge to appropriately react to customer challenges and needs
- Establish and maintain a trusted customer relationship throughout the IT Hardware Lifecycle with each developed account
- Adopt Enlivened Tech’s culture of assuring the highest level of quality, value, satisfaction, and customer service in every communication
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by consistently following up to find additional needs
- Drive attendance and invite prospects to networking events
- Provide opportunities for clients to extend their technology solutions through channel partnerships
- Understand and monitor the rapidly changing marketplace to find opportunities that will position Enlivened Tech for long-term success
- Assist with company and customer product and supply acquisitions
- Ability to travel to networking events and national conferences
What you need to bring with you:
- Experience with sales and business development
- Knowledge of computer products and specifications is preferred but not required
- Hard working, self-motivated, positive attitude with professional demeanor and appearance.
- Effectively build, and grow, and maintain positive professional relationships
- Experience in building a sales team
- Presenting in front of an audience with an emphasis on Thought Leadership
- Forecasting and predicting revenue using our CRM pipeline
- Demonstrated proficiency in database management, Windows 10, Microsoft® Office 365 products (Excel, Word, and Outlook), LinkedIn® Sales Navigator, and HubSpot®
- Knowledge of IT asset management and remarketing is preferred but not required
- Excellent work ethics and organizational skills
- Strong communicating skills via phone and in-person
- A desire to make more income as you close deals
