Director of Business Development

Enlivened Tech is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development with knowledge in the IT field. This position offers exciting opportunities to develop new accounts for our Information Technology Asset Disposition (ITAD) services and refurbished IT hardware solutions.  Having a strong existing network will allow you to advance rapidly toward the large earning potential this position holds.

The primary responsibility of the Director of Business Development is to generate growth and new business opportunities. You will have a number of tools at your disposal, including prospecting through existing business accounts, outbound email/call campaigns, and attending networking events and conferences.  As a leadership role, the responsibilities of this position also include conducting market research, developing business strategies, building client relationships, developing a sales team, and identifying new business opportunities. 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Use your expertise to utilize leads from an existing network and generate new leads through networking, social media, emails, and cold calling
  • Move leads through the sales process by generating interest, understanding the prospect’s challenges and needs, and strategically creating value to close sales 
  • Communicate accurate product descriptions and use product knowledge to appropriately react to customer challenges and needs 
  • Establish and maintain a trusted customer relationship throughout the IT Hardware Lifecycle with each developed account 
  • Adopt Enlivened Tech’s culture of assuring the highest level of quality, value, satisfaction, and customer service in every communication 
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships by consistently following up to find additional needs 
  • Drive attendance and invite prospects to networking events
  • Provide opportunities for clients to extend their technology solutions through channel partnerships
  • Understand and monitor the rapidly changing marketplace to find opportunities that will position Enlivened Tech for long-term success
  • Assist with company and customer product and supply acquisitions
  • Ability to travel to networking events and national conferences 

What you need to bring with you: 

  • Experience with sales and business development
  • Knowledge of computer products and specifications is preferred but not required 
  • Hard working, self-motivated, positive attitude with professional demeanor and appearance. 
  • Effectively build, and grow, and maintain positive professional relationships
  • Experience in building a sales team
  • Presenting in front of an audience with an emphasis on Thought Leadership
  • Forecasting and predicting revenue using our CRM pipeline

  • Knowledge of IT asset management and remarketing is preferred but not required

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Create new sales opportunities by moving leads through the sales process by generating interest and understanding their needs and business objectives
  • Hunt new leads by networking through social media, emails, and cold calling from lists and existing networks
  • Communicate accurate business services and product descriptions using appropriate industry knowledge for prospects buying and selling IT hardware
  • Document all activities in Hubspot®

What you need to bring with you:

  • Knowledge of computer products and specifications is preferred, but not required

Warehouse Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform an array of functions that may include but are not limited to
  • Removing packaging slips & labels
  • Verifying count of product for accuracy on incoming & outbound shipments
  • Wrapping & packing of computer equipment & hardware
  • Preparing outbound shipments by box or palletizing
  • Organizing warehouse area
  • Forklift experience is a bonus but not required

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50-75lbs

Use your expertise to:

  • Troubleshoots, setup, installs and configures PC hardware such as memory, adapter cards, printers, smartphones, etc. for company-owned devices
  • Implements systems to ensure ongoing technology maintenance and enhancements
  • Assists with network support issues such as account creation, installation, and maintenance of network printers, low-level maintenance, management of disk space, etc
  • Understand and use all windows operating systems, including Linux and Unix
  • Assists with network management in development implementation of wiring configuration, connectivity solutions, overall network operation systems, network software, server hardware configurations, network file systems, and directory structure
  • Assists in ensuring LAN/WAN system integrity and security. Also assists with installation and configuration of network hardware and software
  • Provides input for purchases of hardware and software needed to operate the network, servers, and desktop PC’s
  • Assists in evaluating customer’s needs and recommends appropriate equipment and software configurations
  • Assist with Purchase orders and invoicing customers utilizing Quickbooks (Accounting version)
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Microsoft office 365

What you need to bring with you:

  • Basic mathematical skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division
